What is Cataracts?
In the human eye, there is a lens that adjusts to focus an image on the retina so that we can see clearly at a range of distances. When this lens becomes cloudy due to aging or injury, it is called cataracts. The clouding of the lens blocks light from passing through and prevents a sharply defined image from reaching your retina. As a result, your vision becomes blurred and appears foggy.
Symptoms of Cataracts
Your vision is blurry as if looking through a fogged-up window
You have double or multiple vision even with just one eye
You see halos around light and can see better indoors or at night.
Despite normally wearing reading glasses, you can temporarily see clearly without them.
Cataract Surgery Procedure

The duration of the surgery depends on the condition of the patient’s eyes, however it usually ranges between 10~20 minutes. It is required that patients arrive at the clinic 1 hour prior to dilate their pupils for surgery. After the surgery, patients can go home once stabilizing. The entire process takes about 3-4 hours.
