Using a Z8 Femtosecond laser, an outer protective flap is created then the cornea is gently reshaped to correct each individual’s vision problems

An EX500 Laser is used to detach the epithelial layer of the eye, then the refractive error on the cornea is corrected

All laser LASIK/LASEK surgery precautions

Post-surgery eye protection

For 1 month after surgery, please refrain from rubbing or pressing the eyes. Be cautious of closing eyes shut too hard.

Shower and face cleansing

Showers are allowed the next day after surgery only from the shoulders down. You are allowed to wash your face 1 week after surgery.

Precautions when going out

Exercise is allowed 1 month following surgery, and driving 2 weeks after. Sunglasses are required when going outside.

Makeup and Beauty

Base makeup is permitted 1 week after surgery. Eye makeup, hair perms and hair colouring are permitted 1 month after surgery

Alcohol and Smoking

Alcohol can cause infections, therefore it is prohibited for 1 month post-surgery. Smoking is allowed but please be cautious of any smoke going into the eyes.
